New York is an amazing city! The sights, smells, beautiful people and uplifting energy is like no other. There’s a constant buzz that fills the city. Everyone is on a mission…nothing is stagnant! A euphoric passion runs through this concrete jungle and KocoSky enjoyed every bit of it! Till next time NYC…thanks for the wonderful memories!

The 70th annual Golden Globes Red Carpet was a sight of glamour and beauty.  Stars lined the plush walkway adorned in breath-taking designer gowns and exquisite jewelry. While some donned pops of color others played it safe in the ever so elegant black.

Salma Hayek shimmered in a Gucci Première gown and blue-green Paraiba Tourmaline Cabochon earrings. This look channels old Hollywood. A touch of shimmer and a curve enhancing silhouette is the perfect marriage for Salma’s curvaceous figure.

Kate Hudson shined in an Alexander Mc Queen  gown,Jennifer Meyer jewelry and Roger Vivier clutch. This classy look steals the scene with a plunging front and embellished collar. The look was well-balanced and accessorized to compliment  Kate’s natural beauty. Truly a Red Carpet gown!

The elegant Nicole Kidman wore an Alexander McQueen gown as well. She looked svelte, draped in an embellished black gown. No high cuts or plunging necklines, just a well thought out design with lines and accents to emulate a long lean figure.

I love the classy designs of these gowns, truly appropriate for a classic event that honors the work of film makers and the starts that bring the screen to life.

San Francisco ULTIMATE Womens EXPO!!!

 Just thinking about it makes my stomach turn with anticipation.  Can you imagine over 550 different boutique shopping pavilions all under ONE roof?  Ladies, this is THE event of the year.  KocoSky will be on site on October 8th and 9th, 2011 at the San Francisco Ultimate Women’s Expo from 10am to 5pm.  This is an extraordinary event for all women.  Come check out new designs and emerging designers, experiment with new beauty products, pamper yourself with a massage, taste delectable treats and uplift your soul with key-note speakers; Jane Fonda and Dyan Cannon.  Disconnect from the monotonous tasks of daily life and carpool with your girlfriends to the San Francisco Concourse Exhibition Center.  It will be an unforgettable event.

Chain REACTION

For the lucky ladies that will be attending the Houston Shecky’s event on September 14th and 15th 2011, here is a preview of one of the new necklaces that will be on sale at the KocoSky booth.  Be sure to stop by and check out all the fabulous new arrivals.

This piece yields rows of diverse chains, all hanging vertically from a rope that has been woven through a slightly larger chain.

I love the vertical lines that it creates. It’s the perfect piece to wear under a boyfriend blazer, paired with a bright tank, skinny jeans and wedge heels.

The natural movement of the chains creates an edgy feel but the overall look is very chic.

 

The chain measures 31 inches in length.  It has a nice weight and will stay close to your body. You’ll definitely get a reaction when you complete your outfit with this piece.
